The first times we were infected with the offroad bug is when Haitske and I travelled to Abu Dhabi to visit a friend of hers. Though we did not rent our own 4×4 car (but got the smallest rental car available in the Emirates – which had approximately 1/4th of the size of a normal car there), we decided to do an expedition into the desert.
Wow…what an experience
Our driver really knew how to drive in the dunes…
…and down we go…
And yes…the offroad bug got me….(can you see?)
BTW: Should you ever be in the Emirates and want to join such a trip, go with Sunshine in Abu Dhabi. They are really experienced and great guys.
